Band James Esmay Hilltop Volcano Football Baseball Band Senior Class Horoscope It is the year 1978 and we are sitting in front of our picture-frame tele- vision set watching the world-famous news commentator Eddy Curti, as he reports on the graduating class of 1958 at Mendocino High School. We learned that: Sharon Ray is the first woman to become President of the United States. Marilyn Helela has achieved her goal in life and is now Treasurer of the United States. David Larkin owns his own auto shop and employs Herky McLean as grease monkey. Bonnie Robinson is the highest paid model in the United States. Ken Jones arranges publicity campaigns for her. Susan Nichols is the first woman to win the Annapolis Speedway in a Turbo-Jet racer designed by the world-famous artist and racing enthusiast Jim Esmay. Bob Enochs is captain of Mendocino's professional Tiddly-Winks team, and Raymond Merritt, water-boy, spends his free time filling the Gopher holes in the field of the stadium. Nadine Jamison is busily entering beauty contests, and has won 97 trophies. Elzada McCoard is the President of a large and prosperous corporation which manufactures perfume. Roberta Sutliff is her indispensible private secretary and business advisor. Henry Barff, authority on Boys' State, is touring Europe giving lectures on Girls' State. Claudia Gabbert and LaRay Potter are the owners of an exclusive dress shop in the city of Casper. They feature creations by the Dior of today, Louise McBroom. The former Kathy Hawkins and her family are living happily in their glass house in the suburbs of Albion. Judy Voepel is principal of one of the Caspar Elementary Schools. Among the students in her school are the six children of Joan Wright, and the eight children of Raymalue Potter. Patt Valadao, whose professional name is Roberta Randolph, is considered America's first lady of the stage, and has starred in over 500 Broadway Productions. Gary Parrott is a world-renowned chemist made famous by the discovery of super-phosphate which is widely used in a new field of industry. Last but not least, the millionaire Janice Meek is now living in one of her mansions on the coast of Nigeria. One of the rooms of this house is papered entirely with photographs that Jan secured while she worked on the yearbook staff in 1957. As Mr. Curti concludes his broadcast we feel that the class of 1958 has been very successful.
