ff' L , The Freedom Train visited us in Alexandria, Louisiana on Thursday, Ianuary 5, 1948, at the Missouri-Pacific station. Buses from many nearby cities and towns came here to view the historical documents contained in this Freedom Train. Our Menard band played selections of marches in the welcoming program, and students were qtven a few hours during school to qo and see tor themselves the spirit which animated our Forefathers. YL .
