Kristina Kulberg Art Editor Nancy Larson Business Editor While others were busy writing, the Art Staff was laying out pages to add sparkle to our LOG. This year’s staff, headed by Kristina Kulberg, included Elaina Barisano, Jane Han- nabury, Wendy Hasey, and Marilyn Lieber- mann. A familiar scene was Kristina dashing about clutching cumbersome rolls of sketch paper and worn-out pencils. Meanwhile, Nancy Larson and her Business Staff, Linda Hunt, Judy Comeau, Marilyn Troughton, and Linda Curran were buried under a stack of nearly five hundred profiles to be typed. The few times they emerged from this typographical chaos, they were greeted with the words — Just a few more! ” ART STAFF BUSINESS STAFF the oCog (Staff began its belated, get continuous writing of profiles. Although unable to sell Logs in homerooms, Patsy Kane led the valiant Subscription Staff, Susan Conley, Suzanne Desmond, Bruce Morri- son, Judy Swartwout, and Sandy Meldonian in- to the Cafeteria to sell Logs in peace — but — our cages were rattled, we were made faces at; yet we laughed hardest at those who faced us! We passed out slips at our memorable assembly but ran out of ink! Meanwhile, Kenny Row- land, Editor of the Advertising Staff, with Nancy MacKay, Tom McKinlay, Nancy Frank- lin, and Betsy Belcher were summoning up “that courage,” polishing their newly-acquired sales approach, and finally setting up their hard-earned ad pages! LOG r h ' • William Hanlon Advisor Autumn “drifted” in, but the work on the 1966 LOG had long been in progress. The rough plans were decided upon (after a few bloodless battles) during the summer months, and the editors proudly handed Mr. Hanlon our “complete” outline. “This is fine for a beginning! ” The staffs were soon organized and working madly, selling subscriptions, making posters, composing pro- files, typing, and pressuring businessmen for ads. Everyone was “racing” to make the December, Feb- ruary, and March deadlines. It looks as if we have won! Sandra Driscoll Editor-in-Chief Confronted with the problem of a fire early in the fall, LITERARY STAFF First row: L. Schofield, S. Griggs, M. Spollett, J. Foster. Second row: E. Lee, A. Starr, J. Cassis, M. Catino, L. Washburn. Third row: K. Voci, C. Stratton, J. Hough. Susie Griggs Literary Co-editor Martha Spollett Literary Co-editor After the major task of choosing a theme was com- pleted, the members of the Literary Staff, headed by Susie Griggs and Martha Spollet, found it was their turn to work. Early in September, the staff was busy composing the seemingly insurmountable stack of profiles. Even on our trip to the O ' Toole Company, our yearbook publishing house, the Literary Staff lit- tered the bus with slips of block paper and activity sheets. 16
