The members, who are chosen from Retailing classes I and II, are juniors and seniors wishing to accept part-time retailing work. After the completion of 450 hours of paid experience, these students can earn one full credit toward graduation. The purpose of this work is to en- able students to investigate the career possibilities in this field, to earn one unit toward graduation, to better appreciate the standards of work and conduct de- manded by stores, to better understand how a business operates, to see in what ways their school training might be improved and supplemented before gradua- tion, and to earn money while they learn.
