Cardinals Thrash Their Opponents Late in the 4th quarter Riverside scored to tie up the game at 16-16. Medical Lake then received the ball at their own 25 yard line. Knowing that they needed to score to win, they marched the ball down the field, as John Holmes scored the winning touchdown with a 3 yard run off the left tackle.‘‘The team showed great tenacity and ability to hold their composure as they drove to score the winning touchdown,” commented Head Coach John Giannan-drea. This years football team showed much talent and positive attitudes. The team proved they could move the football, putting it into the endzone for a touchdown. Medical Lake was once again in the stiff competition of the Frontier League, but nevertheless the Cardinals held their own. 1.
