Zke Cardinal Published by the Associated Students of Medical Lake High School Medical Lake, Washington Zke Staff Editor: Lynda Fuller Art Editor: Janet Fuson Business Managers: Frankie Trautman, Robert Llewellyn AH Zhe World’s a Stage All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts. William Shakespeare It is the sincere hope of the annual staff that you will find much pleasure and enjoyment in this issue of the 1959 Cardinal. Your high school years are part of life's great theatre... The school, your stage, and you, the actor. Each section of this annual is another scene of the play. The theme of the yearbook, therefore, is based upon human drama. With this thought in mind, we present the 1959 CARDINAL. As you glance through this script in years to come, we hope you will re-live your big role in this drama. Dedication For the past two years, Sunshine Millhorn has been sending her rays of shining light into the hearts of all the students here at Medical Lake High. Mrs. Millhorn has given to her classes, besides many pleasant hours of teaching, a gay wit and unmatched humor in her conversation and attitude towards all aspects of school life. It is to you, Sunshine Millhorn, supervisor of the annual staff, that we lovingly dedicate this annual, The 1959 Cardinal, as a token of appreciation to a wonderful teacher. S.M. President Dear friends, classmates, and student body members: I hope this year has been a most successful and prosperous one for you. The Student Council has had one of its best years, I am sure. It sponsored activities such as the Christmas Party, the annual Carnival, and a new event this year which was Medical Lake's Homecoming. The Student Council attended both North East District Student Council meets this year and gained some ideas on how other student councils operate. Next year the student body will begin a new era in a new high school building and possibly as a class A high school. So, as the school year closes once again, I wish each and every individual a bright and happy future. 34 tA.S.K.
