In the top picture is shown Dr. Htmter Holmes McGuire, founder of the Univer- sity College of Medicine in 1893, which was consolidated with the Medical College of Virginia in 1913. In the bottom picture is Dr. Stuart Mc- Guire who was President of the University College of Medicine, 1905-1913; Dean, Med- ical College of Virginia, 1913-1919; Presi- dent, 1919-1925; Chairman, Board of Visi- tors, 1932-1948. These two men contributed greatly dur- ing their time to the progress of the Medical College of Virginia.

I wonder what ' s so interesting to the P.Ts. at the Junior-Senior picnic. Spring is here — and the nurses eagerly make use of the sun deck. . . . and now with graduation, the Seniors leave with memories of student days here that have been lull and varied.
