A number of sensors have contributed thesr time and efforts to the school publscatsons Bonnse Edwards most ably edited thss school annual and Jsm Freeland was business manager of the Hs Tsmes Sensors have sung beside lower classmen sn chosr chorus and ensembles played beside them sn the band and orchestra Besides the actsvstses sn which they have participated with the other classes of the school the sensors have carrsed out some of thesr own Toward the beginning ofthe year a football dance was given also an assembly and later the annual sensor class play A few sensors have won specsal honors notably Harriett Walker who recesved the Good Cstszenshsp award Eleven were selected to take the test for the Pepss Colo Scholarshsp The sensor class too broke the tradstson of graduatsng sn formals and whste coats by grad uatsng sn caps and gowns of black Much dsscussson was held before making thss change and a vote decided the question Without a doubt any member of the class of 47 may be proud of sts record Its one hundred and seventy eight graduatsng students who snclude twelve veterans wsll leave a place dsffs C to fsll president S lzarevvell socsal affairs and athletsc events I would like to thank the members of the sensor class for thesr splendsd cooperation sn making thss fsne record posssble I am certasn that sf these prsncsples of honesty ambstson and sntegrsty are carrsed snto later years success to all wsll be the outcome MRS ELSIE BUTLER Ml D VERE TAY!-Ol ult ' .
