Class History BIUST peculiar-looking stranger entered the office of BI. H. S. early in llay. Nc-rvously he stood in line, chewing his long white beard, a continuation of l1is hair, which streamed out the door and down the hall to Locust Street. Attired in a lion skin and sandals, the Alien quite overwhelmed the Office Inmates, who went into a huddle which they hoped was not too obvious. They solemnly pointed him out to each other, to make sure that they were not seeing things. Efficiently, the U. Ifs herded the waiting line Cwith the exception of the Alieni into the hall, giving each person therein a little push, to facilitate a hasty exodus. Then they firmly locked the door. Cautiously they asked the Alien who he was, whence he came, and what he wanted. He said his name was Publius, The last thing he could remember was the fall of Rome. He believed that Home must have fallen on him while he was hunting wild boar. At any rate. every- thing had gone black for a few centuries. Vllhen he awoke, in 1892, he was sitting on a cloud over which the North and lvest Wlinds were battling for possession. Clhancing to glance down, he saw dear old HI. H. S. in the process of construction. and, filled with nostalgia for his own school days, he was about to spread his long hair and drop, whe11 the North lVind, victorious, fiercely blew him to other climes.
