as Artisan unto 'za Gqcfuanaa A junior knows, but does not know that he knows We, the class of '39 about to enter the threshold of our Senior year, can look back with pride onvthat year when we were Iuniors, Our first great achievement came when we presented our play, Second Fiddle . Remember the fun we had at the try-outs ? Iust think how hard all of us worked painting scenery, collecting properties and distributing posters. For the first time in any Iunior Show we had a complete dual cast. Remember how excited we were when the curtains first parted, and how proud we were when the final curtain fell? After the excitement of the play had subsided we began to plan for what we believed was to be the greatest Prom ever held in this school. How big We felt as we did our best to put the finishing touches to the Seniors' high school life. Was it a nice Prom ? You bet it was, with gorgeous decora- tions surpassing all others that had adorned the gymnasium-so we felt. It was truly a smashing climax for our Iunior year, and it is with these pleasant memories that we looked forward to our next term as Seniors. We wish those, whose places we are about to take, the best of luck as they leave the portals of this ever growing school and enter the world. Twenty-nine
