This year, besides conferences at Bur- naby, B.C., and Shoreline, some members had the privilege to attend the national conference in Wash- ington D.C. Leading the club this year were Anne Echelbarger-Pres., Colleen Cole-Vice-Pres., Carol Huck-Sec., and lane Hartsfield-Treas. The advisors were Mr. Lewarne and Miss Deaton. Ti As the need for medical aid increases, so does the interest in this rapidly growing field. Members of MEDICS learned much about this area while participating in such activities as a field trip to see open-heart surgery, medical movies, and selling l.D. tags to aid in scholarships. 'AA'

A candle sale at Christmas provided the funds which enabled F.B.L.A. to visit such places as the Bell Telephone Company, the l.B.M. building, and Allstate Insurance. Colleen Tanabe displays the scrapbook from her trip to Washing- ton, D.C.
