Fair Store Leo A. Ruhlman junior Dari ing’s Curley’s Market Tod (Eddie Ferry) borrows a new typewriter from the school office for Patty (LuNette W'ieting) to write her novel. Ida May (Annie Pobanz) learns that a detective (Robert Alyea) is investigating the case of the stolen typewriter. In the process of sneaking it back it is broken. Isabel (Norma Pierce) persuades Patty to sell her novel to pay for the typewriter. Artie (Eddie Humphrey), who drums on everything he sees, creates such a commotion that Patty’s diary is sent to the editor instead of the novel. The diary shakes the town like an explosion. It tells what Patty’s father (Doran Horn) and her mother (Phyllis Ellis) have said, also that Mrs. Nixon (Sherlene Feld-mann) spends all of her husband’s (Royce Saltz) salary on hats. Monica (Ramona Matney) and Louella (Louise Larson) are high school friends. Monica is always making plays to snare Harney (Royce Saltz). Paul Cummings (Larry Wynn) and Quiz (Brenda Margritz) learn whose diary it is and come to learn more about it, but are turned down flat. Hetty Heaton (Evone Monson), from the radio station is there too. Miss Wiggam (Kathy Larson) and Mrs. Whittaker (Lola Larson) are spend-thrifty teachers.

The Meadow Grove Trojanettes completed their 1956—57 season with an 8 win and no loss record to win the Conference Championship. The girls defeated Pagein the Clearwater Invitational Tourney to take third place. High scorer for the 56—57 Trojanettes is Joyce Duchow with 95 points. f our girls will be lost from the volleyball through graduation, They are Joyce Duchow, Rebeca Hamley, Carole Horrocks, and Lorna Linse. The girls played three non-conference games. The first was with Ewing at Meadow Grove. The second was a rematch at Ewing. The Trojanettes won these matches. The third game was with Tilden at Tilden where MG11S team lost the only game of their season with a score of 18—25.
