Senior Play The senior class presented their play, Line of Scrimmage , before a full house Friday night, April 1, under the direction of H. W. Adams. The stage setting was unusual as it was divided into two different rooms, an inner office and an outer office. The play was a three act comedy with a time lapse in the third act. As the play started one of the most valuable football players, Stanley Grapplenuesky flunks an English test. He receives 100% on his make up test and Mr. Morrison, the principal, is accused of showing him a copy of the test. Ruby Dinway doesn't help matters any when she says she has had a date with Mr. Morrison. Mr. Keefer of the accrediting association is trying to get Mr. Morrison fired when a helper in the office, Perry Winman, admits he gave Stanley the test and Ruby tells everyone she made up the story about her date with Mr. Morrison. As the play ends, everyone is happy and Mr. Morrison is still principal. Between the first and second acts Lloyd Avery sang a solo, Smilin Through with Jean Monson accompanist.
