Donna O'Banion, Janet Synovec, Nancy Falconer, Jean Monson. The 1954-55 pep club was again sponsored by Miss McNamee, Every high school girl joined the club. The officers were as follows: president, Barbara Dreger; vice president, Janet Warrick; secretary, Carole Horrocks; treasurer, Sherry Wynn; and news reporter, Barbara O'Banion. The following girls were elected to serve as first team cheerleaders: Jean Monson and Donna O'Banion, seniors; Janet Synovec and Nancy Falconer, juniors. The second team cheerleaders were Rebeca Hamley and Kay Wilson, sophomores; Phyllis Ellis and LuNette Wieting, freshmen. The first team cheerleaders' uniforms were white wool turtleneck sweaters with red and white sectional skirts. The second team cheerleaders' outfits consisted of white wool turtleneck sweaters with red corduroy circular skirts. Pep club members wore white wool letter sweaters with red corduroy skirts. The pep club sponsored the athletic banquet on the evening of March 4, 1955. The girls were also active selling popcorn, candy, pop, and gum at games which helped finance the banquet.

The news was typed and then the news was taken down to the news office where Mr. Hauge printed it in the paper. Mr. Hauge gave the space to the Trojan Talk.
