There goes the whistle that will wake Mr. Switzer and the Meadow Grove teachers (I hope not). What's the strange noise below the school house? Ohl Switzer Just started the bus. The stoker going good, Mr. Switzer decides It's time to hit the trail again. The teachers begin to arrive first Mr. Ballantyne and Mr. Slentz then the Norfolk teachers. What's that green streak coming from the east? It's Luttman and his speed wagon. Here comes that yellow streak from the south. Gang wayj Mr. Ballantyne meets you at the door; Take your overshoes off up here (fellows) The girls come Into the assembly and take their seats. The boys fly Into the assembly Mr. Ballantyne says Hurry fellows A low moan from the assembly, time for English 11 12 and nobody has his lesson. Here comes Boyd and Kenny: Same old line-lost their keys. At last Gerald comes in. Perry Osborne rebuilds Henry Ford's last car In Physics class. The school house begins to vibrate the shop class has begun. Poor Mr. Slentz-another day for Biology with the Sophomores. Fittings or food begins In Home Ec. Here comes the Junior and Seniors but where are the Sophomores and Freshmen? (Ballantyne kept them for a before-dinner lesson on shooting spltwads).. Again Mr. Ballantyne hurry fellows There's a strange noise In the Home Ec. room-band todayI AhJ hear that triple trio practlng (sounds like a cat fight). Here comes the advanced Algebra class all 6 of them. 4A's and 2D 'a. World Geography Mr. Luttman'a prize class most of them A students . Mrs. Steffen announces every boy who doesn't have there name on the board may go out for athletics. (No one leaves.) School's out for some of them. Another day-Wow? Erwin, Plckel and Bill come out all smiles, glad to get out. Stanley and Dick Terry followed by Mrs. Steffen, not so happy. All Is quiet so Ballantyne goes home to rest for the next day.
