 SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY Herb Cornett is a wood-cutting man in Oregon. His motto is “T-im-ber!” Joe Schmid is now working for Wolf Wolf Wolf, making dog biscuits. Lucille Lewis, now Mrs. Schmid, is champion bronco-buster of the west. It seems her husband, Joe, wants her to bring his dog buscuits to the public eye. Pauline Schilling ran into Tarzan while on a jungle trip and hasn’t been seen since. Timothy Terry is Meadow Grove’s No. 1 playboy and is again in court being sued for “Breach of Promise” by Dorothy Ballard. Fern Synovec Libby Rezac are happily married to Ben Osborn and Rusty Phillips and their happiness is little marred by their taking in washng to support said husbands. Jerry Cloyd is a photographer for the World Herald. His picture of the new Rocket ship Tim Terry wrecked, made front page news. Lo Gene Collins has divorced Kenny Galyen and is now on the trail of Jay Wilson. Jay Wilson is happily married to Mary Jane and just cruises around in his Ford while his twin boys take care of his filling station. Lelha Buffington is still singing “Let Me Call You Sweetheart” at all the night spots in Meadow Grove—namely, ‘Sloppy Joes’. Darvin Kohl was rocketed to fame for this invention of long sweeping tails for unfortunate horses. Eileen Berg is still saying, “Number please,” but on her nights off she is “Madame X” in a current radio serial. Fern Duhachek is “Sweetheart of the Parachute Troops” and is wife of one—man, not parachute. Twila Wamke is married to Norman Hicks and they live in a cozy little joint in the slums of Meadow Grove. La Jean Adams is working on a fruit farm in Oregon, taking the wrinkles out of prunes. Reed Dye is now manager of the girls Basket Ball Team. “Haven’t lost a game yet,” says Coach Dye. Willard Wegner is now happily married to Patty Werner and has taken over the mail route. Donna Weik is happily married to Ted, and all her ten sons are in the Navy. La Vona Pugh is now giving speeches for the Red Cross. The title of her last speech was “Who Killed Cock Robin.” Dolly Lewis is happily married to Mike, the Slug, and is a dancer at Hairless Joes’ Inn. Mary Jane Terry is the happy wife of Jay Wilson, but once while he steps out on her.
