V V CLASS PROPHECY C Barbara Becker is using her singing talent to its greatest advantage: she's singing lullabys. Winton Beech has gone a long .way: he is now working in his own laboratory trying to take the buzz out of a honey bee. Bill Boyer is in the movies. They thought he was Charles Boyer's nephew. Merlynn Kinne is testing his first sky rocket, which he thinks will travel 650 miles an hour. Delbert Dearmin runs the city pool hall. l Muriel Hamley is now being studied by famous musicians: she sang higher than any note they ever heard. Minette Hogsett is up near the Great Lakes Training Base. Her hus- band 18 in the navy and every night she sings, My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean. Ruth Horrocks and Mildred Kohl run a small restaurant now. The only trouble, Mildred says, is that Ruth eats up all the profits. Margaret Leiswald is a hostess on an air liner. Ruth Mandel is in the news. She won a prize at the county fair with a pumpkin she raised in her truck garden. Loren Lenz has become a hermit and is living in a cave somewhere along the Elkhorn River. Nancy Jo Marts is deep within the jungles preaching to the natives of South Africa. Alvin Lincke won the National Cornhusking Contest this year and said he picked so fast that when he got in the wagon at the finish three ears hit him on the head. June McKnight and Jimmy are living happily south of Tilden and Junior is fine too, we're glad to hear. Woodrow Collins and Joe' Sullivan are hunting elephants in Africa. Woodie's wife, Jean Daniels, wanted an ivory comb and brush and Joe needed some new hunting stories. . Marjorie Munger reads recipes over the radio on her Kozy Kitchen Kollege program. Laurence Osborn in his spare time as a Wall Street Tycoon,, judges beauty contests, he has a special weakness for blondes. Dwayne Switzer is in the Ozarks: he says the civilized girls don't appreciate his crooning. Helen Phillips married the sword swallower of the Ringling Brothers Circus. ' - Don Wright is Meadow Grove's pool shark. Darlyne Schulze is happily married and is living somewhere in old Wyoming. . . ' Onita Risor is trying to assist her husband in a western state cream station. Inez Swarm tells her children to study hard in school to keep their grades above C level.
