Accepting the death of our niece, Emily Jean Forbes, has been the hardest thing we 've ever had to do. Emily's death came as a shock to both of us. We never thought it would happen to someone so close. Realizing that she isn 't going to be able to attend anymore football or basketball games and other events with us, is slowly sinking into our lives. Just think, all of this grief could have been saved if only one human being had not been drinking. Emily was a perfect little girl. She made everyone smile. Emily was the most precious thing on earth. Maybe God needed Emily, because she was an angel. At least we know she is happy in heaven now. We'd like to thank everyone who comforted us during this tragic period. We couldn 't have made it without the help of all of you. We pray that our Student Body will realize that drinking and driving does not pay. Let's have a safe and sober graduation.
