This year, Eisenmeyer Theatre presented three productions. The first play was the one-man show Clarence Darrow , brought to McKendree by the Riverside The- atre. This drama was written by Da- vid W. Rintels. Ron Clark played Dar- row and Jody Hovland directed the show. McKendree ' s fall play was An- tigone , the Greek tragedy by Soph- ocles of one woman ' s fight to save her dead brother ' s soul and the ef- fects this battle had on her king. Christine Jones played Antigone and Randy Blakely portrayed Creon. Other members of the cast includ- ed: Ellen Connor, Jeff Noblin, Jeff Winget, Betsy Sutton, Jeff Thorn- ton, Renee Korves, Steve Wright, Beth Olmstead, Trevor Guthrie, Dawne Ducree, Dan Kasten, and Jeff Bowen. The stage managers and set constructors were Donna Snyder and Bob Luetkenhaus. The lighting director was Bob Luetken- haus. The Curate Shakespeare As You Like It was the spring production at McKendree. This Shakespeare-com- edy play provided a night of inter- esting interaction between actors of a traveling theatre troupe. The cast consisted of Suzanne Hacking, Me- lissa Kaegel, Steve Wright, Jeff Nob- lin, Dan Kasten, Randy Blakely, and Christine Jones. The set and lights were directed by Bob Luetkenhaus. Part of the cast prepares themselves for o performance. Ganymede (Suzanne Hacking), Touchtone (Don Kasten), and Aliena (Melissa Kaegel) arrive in the Forest of Arden. Bob Luetkenhaus watches the action on stage from the lighting booth. 29
