FINE ARTS There is an ever-increasing recognition that a knowledge of the fine arts and its literature is a vital part of a liberal education. It is the purpose of the Division of Fine Arts, therefore, to serve those who wish to make an intensive study of music and art so that they may become men and women of high ideals and usefulness as artists and teachers. The Division of Fine Arts attempts not only to develop those professionally interested in music and art, but also to contribute to the general education in the life of every student in the college.
