REPAIR T RT Division consists of three work centers: the Non-Destructive Test- ing Lab, the Quality Assurance Office, and the Water Chemistry, Oil Test, and Acid Spot Test Lab. The Non-Destructive Testing Lab provides support service for the IMA with radiography and ul- trasonic testing of metals and fabricated joints. The Quality Assurance Office provides support to the IMA through the identifica- tion of nuclear, subsafe, Level-1, and special control jobs. This shop also provides Quality Assurance t.raining and guidance to the IMA. The Water Chemistry, Oil Test, and Acid Spot Test Lab provides analysis of water and oil samples. REPAIR OFFICE RO Division is the administrative division of the Repair Department. It's shops include: Ili The Repair Department Office, which handles all clerical work and correspondence for the Repair Department. 4121 The Print Shop, which is like a mini-publishing company. 165 lithographers print training manuals, the POD, pamphlets, or any material that needs to be mass produced. l3j The Draft Shop, which prepares layouts for printing, makes signs, and does the artwork for publications. l4J The Photo Lab, which handles all photography for the ship, as well as submarines. Its staff produces newspapers, brochures, cruisebooks. and takes photographs of ceremonies or events as needed by the Public Affairs Officer. i5l The Closed Circuit Television Studio, where training films are aired throughout the ship. When underway, the studio airs regular television programs sent by the Armed Forces Television Service. RS Division is the Planning and Estimating ffenter, which plans all controlled, Level l and sub-safe work for the MCKEE and tended units.
