Miska did you know Pete gave up his horse dog and even his farm for that gal Lois Vance' Yep' he is now the Vice President of the First National Bank of Fargo Oh Lois is very good to him Once a year she lets him spend a week on a dude ranch and ride a horse Do you suppose they still sing to each other those lonesome cowboy songs when they are out riding the trail? Miska you see what Pete s training as business manager for the Student Association has done for him He learned to handle large sums of money even if he wasn t too good at keeping books straight Yea' that s what sorta puzzles me You know he always said All I am and all I got I owe to the McHenry Student Association What do you think he really meant by that'7 Naw I shouldn t think that I figure it won t do any hurt to pay him a business call and give him the opportunity to invest in me Myrna Leir married that guy on Cambells road crew and she is cooking for the entire crew Myrna never did find out that the crew foreman offered a handsome bonus to the guy who found em a good cook What some guys won t do for a little money And to think what a pretty nurse she would have made too I stopped and had a nice talk with Marilyn She was filling boxes Miska what do you mean filling boxes does she pack box lunches for Myrna? Naw she helps Marcel sort his mail and then she goes out on the route w1th him They re real happy Marcel drives the Jeep and Marilyn chucks to run it but after Marcel had to get up at 8 o clock to open up the store he decided that was too strenuous a way to make a living for him so they sold it within twenty four hours Well Miska I got some reports to get out glad you stopped 1n mce seeing you again Oh er Clayton since we were buddies and stuff er do you suppose well this is kind of hard to ask but do you suppose you could let me know if you have any vacanies in your primary grades this spr1ng'7 I figure I 11 be needin a Job when they catch up with me back there in Minnesota Why sure Miska I d be glad to consider you You submit your application in March or April and I ll see what I can do for you So Long 7514: ifffikiefiki lklkltrlkiribfifliwklk 'Gf214'4Ok10U91 Ik if Miss Duffey Anthony use asbestos in a sentence Anthony I do my work asbestos I can Miska All you say goes in one ear and out the other Mr Billigmeier Well what s to prevent it Z5 B6 - 1 1 1 I D . , . 1 1 B I i In 1 1 1 I I 1 V1 I1 li I 1 - 0 . 1 1 I 1 , .
