Valedictorian Cela Lela Lieuallen, who maintained a 3.9 GPA, was named valedictorian of the class of '62. Participat- ing in many activities, she is a member of Thespians, Torch Honor, Glee Club, and Pep Band. Also she held the offices of Bagpipes editor and cheerleader. Lela, a citizen of Oregon’s Girls' State, is an active member in church, and also was Worthy Advisor of Rainbow. A member of the prom court in both 1961 and 1962, Lela plans to continue her education at Oregon State University in Corvallis. Salutatorlan Koliada Graduating with a 3. 3 GPA, Rolinda Morrison received the honor of salutatoriam She has re- mained active while at McEwen by participating in Thespians, Glee Club, Torch Honor, and Girls' League. Rolinda moved to Vancouver, Washington, in her junior year, but came back to McEwen to complete the final semester of school. As an active member of church, Rolinda will attend college at the University of Oregon in Eugene.
