Macon Leaders Comprise Board of Education Our board members meet regularly to form school policies, to provide us with the necessary equipment and to help improve our schools. The members are from various professions: they are doctors, lawyers, manufacturers, bankers, and businessmen. They take time from their busy schedules to plan the Bibb school program. These men form the vital link between the community and the schools. The Willingham and McEvoy secretaries take care of money, make school reports and handle the endless problems that arise each day. Lunchroom managers are re- sponsible for providing us with well-balanced lunches daily. It’s quite a job to cook for 2500 stu- dents every day! The Willingham Senior secretary, Mrs. Lam- back, and the guidance counselor, Mr. Pirkle, get together with Mr. Downer and Mrs. Weaver of the Junior High to compare notes.
