Gray, J. Logie, J. Dingfelder, G. Conrath Band The music is heard loudly and distinctly as the band with its blue and white outfits forms a colorful and unique pattern on the field. Together with the majorettes and flag twirlers, they give a performance pleasing to the eyes and ears of all present. These students begin their work even before the regular school term begins, They practice during the latter part of the summer so that when school opens they are ready to give their best whenever called upon to do so. To highlight the season for some members is. their participation in the Save-An-Eye All Star Band and the Northwest District Band. They also give a spring concert in coalition with the orchestra. The leader .of the band and majorettes is Mr. Armstrong assisted by Miss Mitchell. The drum major is J. C, Delongg head majorette, Bobby Jean Whitmire, and student conductor, Paul Moore. The band plays an important part in bolstering school spirit, and they are to be commended for a fine season.
