The Commercial Club is composed of stu- dents taking the commercial course who are in their second year of shorthand. Much of their work is in conjunction with their classroom work, but now and then they also find time for pleasure. This was seen when they sponsored a dance after the Conneaut basketball game called the Sock Hop. This group also pro- vided the students with the McDowellkeychains, which they sold early in the fall. Most of the girls are interested in becoming the secretaries of tomorrow, and they are willing to work hard toward that goal. Their activities are directed by Mrs, Hayes, their sponsor. The purpose of the club is to help prepare the girls for their jobs as secretaries. This energetic group was led by President - ifosalyn Iffirnico, Vice President - Carole Filson, Secretary-Carol Seitzinger, Treasu- rer - Nlary Smolinslfi. sig
