Debate The topic for Debate this year was, Resolve that the Atlantic Pact Nations should form a federal union. Under the direction of Mrs. Long the Debate Team had a very successful year. The Debaters attended the animal Debating Tournament held at Allegheny, College, Meadville, in April. They also sent members to the Lake Erie Debate League Ban- quet. Members of the teams that Millcreek debates during the year also attend this banquet. The Debater with the highest number of points from each school represents his school in the debate at the banquet. Here the most outstanding Debater receives the annual Debating Award. The affirmative team consisted of Peggy Moore, Jeanne McKibben, and Dick Row- ley. Brad Hindson, Jean Boyd, and Don Hester supported the negative team. Those students who received letters this year were:Brad Hindson, Dick Rowley, Jean Boyd a nd Don Hester. Officers for the Debate Club were: Presidentg Dick Rowley, Secretary, Peggy Moore, and Treasurer, Don Hester. 1917
