T SENIUR CLASS OFFICERS - President: Ron Pallnerg Vice-President, Jean Botwrightg Secret tary, Jean Prindle: Treasurer, Chuck Fleenian tabsentb. SE IOR CLASS HISTORY Having auditioned for two years after entering the Hallowed Alma lVlater Theatre in 1946, we were finally accepted into Senior High as Freshmen, 154 strong. Leading us were John Le Jeal as Presidentg Don Joslin as Vice-Presidentg John Rautine as Secretary: and Bob Wighani as Treasurer. Here began to develop our reputation as the most independent class in Millcreek's history. ln Act Il we were Sophomores and began to exercise our abilities under the ca- pable leadership of Don Joslin as Presidentg Sandra Ambro, Vice-President: Julia Conner, Secretary: and Dick Curtiss, Treasurer. Our new activities included three booths at the Christmas Bazaar, a skating party, and a fine representation in sports on both J. V. and Varsity teams. The third act as Juniors commenced with a whirlwind class meeting accomplish- ing so many things with such precision and efficiency that all admitted it was the best rehearsed act yet. Our class officers were, in the usual order, Ron Palmer, Dick Curtiss, Audrey Lucas, and Ken Stewart. Not only did we obtain our rings this year, and elect our Kaldron staff-but we also presented the most daring and unique of all Junior Plays, A Young Man's Fancy. and created an exotic Junior-Senior Prom on the langorous shores of Lake Erie. We were represented in the National Honor Society by Jean Prindle, Jacquelyn Russell, Shirley Weber, Jim Yochim, Bob McChes- ney, Don Brindle, and George Pease. We were the stars of the final act-and let's face it-oftimes acted it. Ron Palmer was again our President, Vice President was Jean Botwright. Secretary and Treasur- er were Jean Prindle and Chuck Fleeman. In our more prolific moments we managed to prove our ability and have a mighty pleasant time by creating this Colossus of Kaldrons, producing a baffling mystery-farce, and leading the school in sports by our terrific performance on the gridiron and basketball court. Recovering from an almost fatal engagement with mid-term exams, we set about to crown our King, Ron Palmer, and Queen, Jean Prindle, at the swank St. Pat's Dance. With our lavish Class Party, our inimitable Class Day performance, and the beautiful Junior-Senior Prom still fresh in our memories, we look back-a little saddened-but proud nevertheless, of our Senior year-The Grand Finale of the Class of ,52. 42
