NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The dream of almost every student who enters Millcreek is to become a member of the National Honor Society. Each year the faculty elects the members of the Na- tional Honor Society on the basis of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. SENIOR PLAY Shakespeare may have been the first proponent of a play within a play, but the Senior Class did well in that line too when it produced that baffling, perplexing, be- wildering mystery farce entitled, Murder in Rehearsal. The romantic leads of this performance were Don Brindle and Sally Schwartz who co-starred with Dalton Lei- bold as the Sheriff. The powerful supporting cast included Audree Adams, Sallie Lud- wig, Alberto Roberts, Dwight Wilkins, Ken Stewart, Jim Dudley, Sandra Ambro, Janice Hecker, Judy Epply and Ron Palmer. The student director of this unique production was Carol Christensen. Mrs. Hahn, the coach, made one extremely clever inovation in the play, i. e., using the players own names in the play proper while using stage names in the play within the play flf this sounds confusing you should have seen the playJ. Plays may come and plays may go, but this is one play which, Whether because it was so unusual, or because of the cast, or because of the coaching, has imprinted it- self indelibly on the minds of all who witnessed its execution. 373
