,,,,,, 19411K A L D R O N amd AJ the Days Roll B CLASS HISTORIES J UN1oRs We, the Juniors, have laid the stepping stones of our individual futures through our three years of high school. In our class there has been no abatement in our desire for achievement. We may, at some time or other, have looked upon life as a dark, monotonous state of being, but as we mature, we adopt a brighter outlook. With courage in our hearts and a plucky attitude for accomplishment we look forward to the forthcoming years of our lives. SOPHOMORES ln September of 1941 there entered into the Senior High a group of Sophomores, comprised of boys and girls of Millcreek and the outlying districts. Our class has contributed members to the football and basketball teams, the chorus, orchestra and band, and to the various clubs. Our oflicers are: LaVern Yochim, president, Richard Porsch, vice president, Jack McCullough, secretary, and Yvonne Smith, treasurer. FRESHMEN From such well-known schools as Tracy, Lakewood, Kearsarge, and Belle Valley came our group of sturdy young people to join this one big center as Freshmen. May the hunger for knowledge quicken our steps as time marches on, to prepare us for our future education and life as future citizens of our country. EIGHTH GRADE When we became the eighth graders of Millcreek in the fall of 1941, we were no longer obscure beings. Then we were recognized by our upper classmates as a true portion of the student body of our beloved school. Since we are now definitely a part of Millcreek we expect to have a large represen- tation in the sports, scholastic and social activities of our school in the future. SEVENTH GRADE After coming here from Lakewood, Tracy, and Montclair Schools, we have found Millcreek High School a wonderful place. After Wandering into wrong classrooms and bumping into people for about two weeks, we finally found our place in this large building and are happy to have the opportunity to remain here through our high school years. 50
