Friday evening, February 8. was Dan Cupidls day in MHS. The sweethearts of the hallowed halls congregated in the Junior High gymnasium following the MHS-Boys Town game to enjoy an evening of dancing and to elect tho King and Queen of MHS Sweethearts. Holiday revelry in lVlllS social circles reached its pre-vacation climax Saturday evening, December 15, in the Junior High gymnasium. The festive occasion was the annual CHRISTMAS PROM. sponsored hy the Stu- dent Council. A near capacity crowd was on hand to see that the Yuletide season got an appropriate curtain raising and dancers made merry all evening to the strains of the Collegians. Decorations in the White Christmas mood prevailed on the scene of gaiety and helped to make the Xmas Prom the usual outstanding event. The Collegiansw attempt some harmony. That was the welcome cry that all boys in MHS heard early ,f L . Vi in the school year. It simply meant that the woman was requested to pay and perform all the little deeds that a boy must do during the other 51 weeks in the year. When reported violating this order, the offender received a summons' and had to appear in Kangaroo Court which was held in front of school on Wednes- day and Friday with the Student Coun- cil acting as Judge and jury.
