I6 d Pepper Your pep your pep Yes our picture of school days at MHS would hardly be complete without the usual show of enthusiasm and school spirit whlch prevails throughout the school The 1na1n part in the formation of a picture of school spirit IS played by the 106 members of the RED PEPPERS high school pep organization for girls Each fall the Red Peppers elect a sponsor for the coming school year This year as has been the precedent m the past three years Mr Watkins was chosen by the girls to serve as sponsor Under her expert attention the club has functioned more smoothly than ever and has a long pedigree of worthwhile projects which contrlbute toward the boosting of school spirit Of prlme lmportance to members of the Red Peppers are the annual Color Day festivities and the annual Athletic banquet which IS held in honor of the M club Also on the calendar of ewents are the rummage sales held to secure funds for operation of the organlzation and weekly snack bars planned with the same purpose in mind Members of the Red Peppers cabinet busily mapping plans for the organization are Karen Almquist, Jacki Markwad, Sherry Lou Shepherd, president Sandra Drake, Helen Herrmann, sponsor Mrs. Watkins, Carolyn Kennedy and Cae Cashen.
