Although the Warriors actually ended the season with one victory and six defeats, they produced one of the most powerful defensive elevens in the loop. MCCLYMONDS 6, FREMONT 13: An inspired Warrior eteven nearly pulled an upset when they held a heowly favored Fre- mont team to two touchdowns and scored one themselves. The season's opener saw the Warriors outploytnq the Tigers tor three quarters; they were beaten in the final quarter when the Bengals tallied twice. The Indians scored first in the initial period on a blocked kick by Paul Kouns and Bob Silva! tackles.
