CLUB but surely the longest and loudest-and awarded prizes to the best two tloats. Also sponsored were a homecoming skit and the home- coming exercises-a parade of the schoolis beauties. Before the Sumter game, a contest was held to pick the boy and girl with the most school spirit. The Queen and finalists for the Florence invitational Basketball Tournament were chosen by Miss Tootsey Dennis, Miss South Caro- lina, and a panel of local judges. This event was sponsored by the Pep Club under the direction of faculty sponsor, Miss Janis McKay. Various routine projects included holding pep rallies, decorating the football field, and buying soft drinks lor visiting cheerleaders. The Pep Club Motto: Our armor is our size.
