Mr. G. Schmidt B.S., M.E., Bowling Green State University uidance and Guidance at home and at school is extremely important to every individual. We at M.H.S. are fortunate to have as the guidance director, Mr. George Schmidt. Through him the students make plans for college by taking certain tests which he arranges for them. Mr. Schmidt is known for reciting poems or quotes at assemblies. Almost always these have a message which he tries to give to us. There is such a poem in his modern office which is written by Niebuhr. God grant me the serenity To accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the Things I can, And the wisdom to know The difference. Maumee High School is one of the fortunate to suit his particular needs-. Again, we are schools which have a great number of books happy to see Mrs. Cunningham as the instruc- for students to find factual or leisure material. tor. Any student will find a book in this library K h Mrs. A.
