JOHN FISHBAUGH This was a happy and prosperous year for the class of '51, The first semester was augmented by the early arrival of our prized class rings. After the elections, ideas began arriving for money mak- ing projects. This was a year of financial difficulties. However, an Autumn Ball, an after-game dance and the sale of Maumee High School stationery added to the treasury. The annual Junior-Senior Dinner Dance was sponsored in the spring by the class which will next year step very ably in- to its final term at M. H. SUPHUIHURES Pep and enthusiasm, school spirit, willingness to learn, and perhaps a little bit of devilishness were all included in this year's sophomore class Prettywell acquainted with M. H. S. customes and curricula in this, their second year of high school life, members of the 'class of '52 were extremely active in extra-curricular affairs. The sophs sponsored the first after-game football dance, had a Winter Wonderland party in January, and a picnic in the spring. They presented a fall assem- bly with a variety of acts, and originated a bowl- ing club. Members were active in sports, as cheer- leaders, on the Static and Reflector staffs, and appeared in the fall play and the spring vari- ty show. At the first class meeting of the year the following students were electedto class offices president Walter Minnick vice president Jack Stout secretary Carl Hirsch and treasurer Jack Young The sophomores four student council mem bers were Judy Heilman Janet Toland Ellen Pfleghaar and Don Pauken Advisor: Miss Ruth Krichbaum fri
