One OT The mosT ouTsTanding evenTs oT The year was The Tip-Off Dance sponsored by The VarsiTy Club. The baslceTball leTTers were presenTed aT This dance. ln order To become a member oT This club, each boy musT have received a IeT+er in a varsiTy 5porT. The business meeTing is opened once a monTh by The president Oscar Collins. This club is under The guidance of Mr. Conrad. GeT ouT your magniTying glass and sTamp album and ioin The happy Throng oT The sfamp club members. The Club consisTs of Two deparTmenTs, Junior and Senior, which are boTh under The guiding hand oT Mr. Lawrence. Members of The Senior DeparTmenT gaTher monThly in The home of one of The members To exchange and examine each oThers sTamps and albums, while The Junior DeparTmenT has aTTer-school meeTings. During The course oT The year. members oT The Senior DeparTmenT enioyed a Tield Trip To The Brigham STamp STore in Toledo. The Junior DeparTmenT consisTs oT sevenTh and eighTh graders while The more advanced collecTors OT high school make up The Senior DeparTmenT.
