How scared you were of be- ing picked on, or just afraid of new faces? Most freshmen on their first day were horrified of be- ing picked on. Shannon Chandler said, My brother had told me that my first day at school I would get beat up. I was so scared to come to school that I tried to fake be- ing sick, but my mother did not believe me. In the eyes of the fresh- men girls high school is to- tally different. Wellsy Poole said, I couldn't wait to get to high school so I could have more freedom and date older guys. '- ' Remembered Forever A lot of the freshmen had more to worry about than getting picked on. They wor- ried about getting lost. Tee Batson said, When I was go- ing to class I got lost and went in the wrong one. I was so embarressedf' The freshman class could not wait to become sopho- mores so they could be the ones dishing out the pranks instead of taking them. Der- rik Chandler Let the good times roll!
