President William P. Haas to i A letter from the graduating class of 1983 ........... February 16, 1983 Dear Graduate: mbe 9 That is when you and I arrived 1979 was a great year, reme r. V at NASC, you as freshmen and I as president. we both had much to learn, problems to solve, friends to make and memories to store. Now you have reached a plateau in your lives from which you must ha e a ood begin again to plan the future. Hopefully, many of you v g idea of what your next step will be. Others of you are perhaps still as uncertain about some things as you were as freshmen. And that is not all bad either - if you realize your uncertainty and know how to deal with it. For what it is worth, I learned the hard way that the future is always to a large degree uncertain. It is the present in which you can grasp the reality of your strengths and weaknesses, that gives some measure of certainty. I hope that I have been able to make some contribution to your ' ' ' ' f nan success at NASC. Mrs. Haas and I have enjoyed the friendship o y of you and will always have a special fond ess for the class of '83. Keep growing, keep learning and keep up the good work! And best wishes for the future. , William PJ President WPH!lbm
