Dedication Leon Peters is the unsung hero selected for this year's dedication. He may remain HHOHQYITIOUS to q some people on this campus because of the nature of his job but the products of his dedicated labor are focal points of many a bulletin board. lt is felt by many. that the acknowledgement of this man is well deserved but long overdue. Leon 's talent as a graphic artist is incomparable. The matchless asthetic value of the posters he designs cause their frequent removal from their intended locations most often reaching a destination of a pleasant nature. They can be seen gracing the walls of many student living quarters. Leon knows that this problem can not easily be resolved but he modestly explains that he considers this action to be a compliment. Mr. Peters has been here for almost twelve years. His widespread fame on this campus is not solely a result of his artistic achievements. Leon has possession of a personality that is comparable to the beauty of his art work. Anyone fortunate enough to ha ve made his acquaintance is witness to the limitless warmth that radiates from this man and consequently many people seek his friendship. ln a conversation with Leon dealing with the length of time he has been here at North Adams State College he humorously mentioned that there has not yet been a building on this campus named after him. Well . . . there may never be a building great enough to deserve the flattery of your name but nevertheless we feel lucky to ha ve met you Leon Peters. if
