Nitux we were -'fiativeiy settied in and the naiority oi the connotion had suh-sided the he gave everyone iorns to Fiii out. One was a questionnaire on the roon condition asking ridicuious questions as to the number of waiis and iioors in each room. The YA is aiso responsihie for making sure we are under controi at aii tinies. it you didn't know hetter you'd swear that aii the parents got together and set the 9,P0s up on each iioor so they couid stiii keep one eye over us. Ove oi the first things i got to try was ny patience as i waited in wicked iong iines for the Eirst tour days. Niter waiting an hour in a iine at security to get ny X0 picture taken, K Sound out you never use it. 'Yhen i had ny picture taken again tor ny neai ticket which so tar doesn't seen worth it. 'iou'd never heiieve the food they put in front oi us. he sure can't. he wouidn't even know what it was it they didn't post the warning sign hetore you entered the cafeteria. he even had iasagna that you had to eat with a spoon and it' s not because you wanted to get every drop. Since the Vuh is oniy open on Sunday nights for nass there are a iot oi cuckoo juice parties on campus. The other night at a cuckoo iuice party the Eire aiarni went off. X thought it was an air raid. it did it's ich in getting everyone out oi the huiiding though. it makes you innp so Ear that when you Einaiiy put your Eeet hack dorm you're out oi the huiiding. and after a haii hour of standing in the rain they iinaiiy let us hack in. On the way 'oack to the party we got sixty people in the eievator - a new record. i've nade a iot oi new friends since monday. Everyone seens so triendiy that you never have to he aione. Everyone is iust so nice. i thought seeing a guy with an ear- ring was weird hut then 1 saw a giri with six. and everybody wears ciogs and docksiders. if you don't own a pair oi hikes you' re history. X think Vii reaiiy get to ieei at hone here and after four years it's going to be hard to ieave. But tor now i'ii just think ot the new friends Vve nade. it's a iittie eariy to start thinking oi ieaving then. Love, Jennifer 9.5. hy ciasses are going okay. it's unheiievahie the way the professors assign the work on the iirst days', as though we don't have enough to worry about iust ti-ying to Kind the ciassroons. 'Yhen to top it oit, when 1 was standing in iine to get ny ran out oi noneyg so ii you get a chance i'd appreciate it ii you couid send me tra cash. ex hooks sone 541 -,.-Ji N 1 V ODGS Uly v F J . And peer down the highway, From here to eternity and reach out for love on the run. Al Stewart Ray Sullivan has guided many of us down the highway of uncertainty over the past few years. We reached out and found patience, understanding, compassion and a true educators gift - love. Truly a nice guy with a bad guy's job. Thanks for everything, Dean. Granger's enthusiasm and hard work, eighty percent of us have been able to experience the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. Intramurals have become a pig part of campus life: not only do students have a chance to enjoy brief spurts of physical activity, they may also develop lasting friendships and a true allegiance to the team The class of eighty-one raises it's arms in victory to Nancy Granger for another successful year.
