To focus our lives on distant stars To channel our ambitions, to discover our purpose. We've only just begun . . . to grow. To tap the full-flow of human experience To test the limits of our capacities or to stretch them to boundless boundaries. We've only just begun . . . to discover. Ourselves, the person whom others see, The personality known only to ourselves. g We've only just begun . . . to communicate. To step outside of ourselves and into the lives of others. To share the joys and sorrows of existence. We've only just begun . . . to learn. To increase our knowledge, to expand our minds To encompass reality, to delve into the abstract. We've onlyjust begun . . . Although college has ended A jinality met with ambiguous feelings, We know we have gained something tangible, something valuable. We have gained each other . . . living and warm symbols of these past four years. And although we're now going our separate ways, We've onlyjust begun . . . to be friends. lPat Riley '75j 1-.f mv, ,Q . rl -.: :xg A .- aw , Y: 1 -f -tif I PIII .,f7f.fI fi b '.5A'5fx - s f , 1 ,- sf fu 1 f-, Q- : Af Ki9N Q A 'NA4 I 1 Yfif, 'J' 3.1. - - ow- .--, : , . We have seen dreams and plans become reality. In fact, our four years here could be characterized by one word - growth. Periods of growth are sometimes accompanied by confusion and inst- ability. That is why it is crucial to have a deci- sive leader. Fortunately we had such a leader, Dr. James T. Amsler. Under his direction, the campus has taken on new dimensions. We have experienced growth in every area. He has guided not only the physical expansion of the college, but also helped us to broaden our own personal and so- cial horizons. Dr. Amsler has awakened N.A.S. C. to it's potential. The thing we shall notforget is President Amsler's intense pride in N.A.S. C. It isn't sur- prising that these feelings were contagious. Dr. Amsler is an educator, an administrator, and our president, but above all he is our friend. ka-v Ea cY! Y 04N K. ., ,v 'ff' My -tw slv'-!zi'C'g ---.x . , ,,,, 'e-.. ,. The past four years have been filled with both joy, love and at times, frustration. We all have undoubtedly made many friendships here at good ole NASC.. As we begin another chapter to our lives, North Adams State will remain a part of our lives forever, including our many cherished memories of both lovers and friends, good times and bad. Assuringly, one will never really for- get these years but we would like you to have a few guidelines with which to direct your memory. Through- out this time, we were all incon - venienced at one time or another by mud puddles, noisy machines Cboth during classes and while asleepb, etc. Finally, ater much ado, the center was opened in February of 1975. All will agree that it was well worth the long wait and diffi- culties. Since we have witnessed the growth of the building, we are saddened by the fact that we must now part. We leave Our Dream Come True to the future classes and hope that they will enjoy and take pride in this new addition to our family. photographs Cafeteria courtesy of mr. randy trabold 70 Q ' - as 1 . Times and places change and so do our friendships. We had some good times, didn't we? We shared, and for that moment everything was right. This is not to say that all is now wrong. We have turned our experiences into understanding. Of course, I know that time changes everything, but when ljind a friend it's hard to accept that they may one day be gone. I shall always be your friend, though we may go our separate ways. Thank you for being a part of my life for the pastfour years. If along my lUe's path more like you step in and out, I will be glad for having lived. And especially glad for the living done here with you.
