LILLIAN BOYDEN HELEN BROWN Music, Sociology Training School Each year a mob of buoyant youth invades the campus grounds to be shown the way to knowledge. The freshmen, or Idols of the Tribe, meet their limitations simply be- cause-- they are human beings and are sub- ject to the temptations of a less confining life. The sophomores return with renewed efforts to master the more demanding subject matter, but the Idols of the Den reveal that they, too, have limitations as individuals. The Idols of the Market Place, or place of exchange, was the terrace the juniors triumphantly gained, only to realize the dif- ficulties encountered at this level in rech- ing precision and exact knowledge of truth .
