The FT A is not only a club for those plan- ning to become teachers but for those who are interested in education. The club is most proud that this year they are awarding a $200 scholarship to a senior student. The winner was announced on awards day. Laura Bramel was elected Girls' State Delegate. The club held its first Spring Awards Banquet this year at Capronis Restaurant on April 22. Fifty-one members and special guests attended. Debi Striplin and Paige Vice were named the two out- standing members for the year. The new officers were also announced. The club had several money making pro- jects for the year including; Court Day walking Bake Sale, selling leather key rings, and selling MCHS football shirts.
