MARTHA ALDRIDGE RICKY ALEXANDER CHARLES ALLISON JERRY ARNOLD To be a senior is to experience something new and exciting each day. One of my first experiences was to elect my class governing force. The class officers were as follows: Cathy Curtis, President; Dana Scott, Vice-President; Jean Ann Pyles, Secre- tary; Larry Jefferson, Treasurer; Mike Gardner, Reporter. I worked selling concessions at ballgames; I played my last game, and I cheered my last cheer as a high school student. These last happenings proved sad, but still I was happy to know that I had made new friends that would be a part of my entire life. Near the year's end, I joined my class and jour- neyed to Washington D. C. Not only did I find the trip enjoyable, but also I became better acquainted with my fellow classmates. After returning, I went to the prom. I could sit there and realize how much work juniors had done for me. Finally I got to make the walk down the gym's aisle up to the stage. Here I received what I had worked so hard for - my diplo- ma. I realized what I had thought would take for- ever ended much too quickly. 18
