Louis Bumett and Elzie Myers were replaced by David Goodson as Principal and John Schoolland as Associate Principal. Mr. Goodson showed his concern for the community as he led a drive to organize an advisory coun- cil made up of school patrons. He came from South Mountain where he had served as principal. Mr. Schoolland, who moved from West quickly showed his scheduling competence and an interest in stu- dents. The smooth transition from the old to the new attested to the abili- ties of the two men. Mr. Goodson I upper leftl and Mr. School- land I upper rightj confer on problems of Maryvale in the principal 's office I top centerj.
