We were now walking in those same familiar doors, not frightened as we were the first time. We walked through them proudly because we were now sophisticated seniors. We were greeted by a new face, Mrs. Eater, who was to be our class advisor for our last year in school. This year we have but 18 members. The second week in October we held intlation, which lasted for only one week The freshmen felt small and ridiculous, but we were not too hard on them The class officers resumed their same positions During this year we became Marysville Rye High School as we consolidated with Rye Township We held a rum age sale on November 1, sold hot dogs at the basketball games, decorated the auditorium for different occassion and held a skating party at the Rainbow Roller Rink Then came our senior class pla held on March 50 and 51 W chose, 'The Improper Henry Propper, a farce in three acts We worked very hard on our yearbook which we changed the name to 'The Stone Archer named after the Rockville Bridge, which is the longest stone arch bridge of its type in the world Spring came and brought exams and, of course, the WProm on May 12 We have two big events before us yet the baccilaulate ser vice which will be under the direction of Reverend Robert Nale and then graduation on May 29 The time has finally come for us to put away our worn books and to enter a new phase of life To finish four happy years of our life, we will spend several days in New York City We are ready remember our dear we had during our memories you gave to leave you, M R H b but we will always Alma Mater We will miss the fun and enjoyment years with you but we will always have the Class Will Robert Alexander w1ll my helght to Boyd Bittlng Willlam Bailey will my love of baseball to Willls Grove Jay Baker, wil my jan1tor work to Stiles Mader Phyllis Bitt1ng, will my faithfulness to Nan S1mmons I Phylis Heisley, w1ll my basketball ab1l1ty to Ivetta Bentsel Donna Lee Holland w1ll my abil1ty to cut halr to Sara Ciccocioppo Darwin Jordan will my ab1l1ty to sleep 1n class to Rlchard Foster Ronald Kennedy will my restlessness to Samuel Eppley Roy Kiner w1l my hotrod dr1v1ng to wlllls Alandar Emmert Maugans will my Esqulre appearance to James Stokes Vance Oesterl1ng, will my way with women to btlles Mader Dale Palm w1ll my qu1etness to WMike' Barn1nger Donald Pincl will my football suit to Gene Campbell Evelyn Rice w1ll my typing ab1lity to Lois Beers Charlotte Seitz w1ll my cafeter1a abillty to Marie Heisley Mary Lou Warner, w1ll my shorthand abil1ty to Marlene Benfer John Westfall, will my dP1V1ng ab1l1ty to Boyd Bitting I, Truman Wolf will my Jokes to Jack Smith x o B N I P I' use In !
