Juniors Are o Very Special People Snow-covered trees, tiny deer, and a wishing well all complemented a horsedrawn sleigh which set the scene for the 1973 J-Hop, held at the Gardens School. Decorating committees were supervised by Mrs. Shirley McCall, Chief Advisor for the class of 1974. Miniature sleighs and snowmen ornamented the table tops. Champagne glasses added an extra glitter to the punch made by Mrs. Mary Becker, Advisor, and cookies baked by members of the Junior class. Karen Hinkley and Patricia McHenry with their dates, Rick Fultz and Doug Borgman, respectively, hosted for the evening. Entertainment provided by the “Tradewinds” helped to make a “Winter’s Dream” come true. Before . w wm 28

Second Row: Trenia Yielding, Janice Wilson, Diane Bier, Denise Partridge, Becky Pochodylo, Mary Schultz, Pam Partain, Were On Our Making caramel apples, having a pancake supper, popping popcorn, sponsoring dances are all part of the French Club. Why all the fuss? So the members can earn enough money to make a possible trip to France. The members all help in their share of work. It’s going to take a lot of money to Linda Webb. First Row: Pam Snyder, Angela Troy, Mary Winkel, Lorraine Butler, Vice-President; Vicki Peruski, President; Beth DeLine, Secretary; Pam Herman, Treasurer; Sue Little, Sue Collard. Way To France! send all these members to France and that takes a great deal of selling. However, it would be worth having some of the students from MHS go to France and then have them share their adventures with the student body. Those that went to France last year are Beth DeLine, Pam Snyder, and Ken Rivard.
