Comprehension, Glory, Knowledge. . . Vicki Peruski, a senior, was chosen as last summer’s Youth for Understanding representative. As well as being an exchange student, Vicki is also very active in school activities. She is a timer for the Swim Team, a Varsity Cheerleader, Secretary of Student Council, a member of the AMPLIFIER staff, a member of FTA, President of French Club, a member of Pep Club, and she worked on the Senior Play and Prom. For two months, Vicki’s home was a tourist hotel in Klippen, Sweden, owned by her Swedish parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bror Berg, and their two children, Christer 18, and Catarina, 15. Christer, Vicki’s Swedish brother, is also an exchange student and is attending school in Farmington, Michigan. Besides seeing Sweden, Vicki had the pleasure of visiting Norway and Denmark. Vicki also enjoyed mountain climbing, sightseeing, and just meeting people. Vicki expressed her gratification and appreciation with “It was an experience of a lifetime!” She has definite plans to return to Sweden and visit her Swedish family.
