By reason of arduous, self-disciplined labor, coupled with a driving determination to excel, one learns the invaluable lesson of what it takes to be a success. No man, much less a computer, can weigh the inner quality which by reason of its intensity always characterizes the true champion and even enables men of other- wise modest, natural talent to rise to a pinnacle of achievement.

Council At Work Presidential election The student council is the link between the students and the faculty. The council arranges assemblies, sets up the dance schedule, arranges for exchange students , organizes the home- coming, solicites for the yearbook and distributes it, sells popcorn at the games, is in charge of underclassmen's pictures, and also does many other things behind the scenes. Behind the leadership of President Constance Mc- Nichol the council this year compiled a long list of accomplishments. Leader of the pack. Finally doing their job.
